What is the most important idea you have learned about in Unit 1? Why?
The most important idea I have learned in unit one is the process on how to test for impure water, or how temperatures and pressure can affect our water, and even animals. Even though these were lab concepts, these ideas were also a big part of unit one. I learned that a lot of water is used by people everyday, and we abuse the fact that we can just turn on the tap water and get pure water. When actually there is a whole process to get pure water, and this process is expensive. I thought its important to know that as temperature rises, the dissolved oxygen in water becomes less, and could even harm fish. But even if there is too much dissolved oxygen, that could also kill or harm fish.
