Blog Question

What to you is the fundamental difference between metals and nonmetals?

To me the fundamental difference between metals and nonmetals is metals are luster (shinny), conduct electricity, and are malleable. An example of metals are copper and zinc used in coins. Nonmetals can easily break and do not conduct electricity. An example of nonmetals is oxygen that humans breathe everyday.
